Angel Tree – Christmas Presents for prisoners children – can you help?

Chelmsford Prison Fellowship is a prayer and support group whose mission is to to show Christ’s love to prisoners by coming alongside them and supporting them.

Everything they do is rooted in prayer and they also go into HMP Chelmsford, visiting and supporting prisoners and leading evangelistic meetings.

New volunteers are always welcome.

Angel Tree Project

Christmas is especially difficult for prisoners and their children. Angel Tree lessens the devastation experienced as a result of parental absence by not only helping families connect and build relationships, but by providing children with much-needed joy.

Prison Fellowship volunteers work with prison chaplains and local churches to buy, wrap and deliver the presents.

Contact Rosemary Hayhoe of Chelmsford Prison Fellowship if you or your church might be interested in supporting the project in Chelmsford this Christmas. email: rosemaryhayhoe@aol.com or phone 01245 473781
